3. SETTING AND CONNECTING AN ADDITIONAL POWER SUPPLY UNIT

3.1 ASSEMBLING THE MODIFIED FEEDING RAIL OF THE MINER

  • Disconnect the fan terminal
  • Unscrew the screws  holding the module with the control board
  • Disconnect the power supply stub

  • Remove the control board module, disconnect it completely if necessary by disconnecting the stub .
  • Unscrew screw  of the negative rail and replace it with a similar one, respecting the thickness of the additional terminal
  • Unscrew the screws of the feeding rail and remove it.

  • Modify the rail by removing the shaded area , or prepare a similar one from a copper plate:

Use only the modified rail of the miner! It is necessary to avoid short-circuiting the positive terminal of the additional power supply with the feeding rail of the main power supply! Otherwise the devices and power supply units can be damaged!

  • Put the modified rail in place and screw it down with the screws . The contacts of the first board ② must remain empty in this case.

  • Connect the positive terminal to the positive contact of the board, the negative terminal to the negative rail .

Ensure there are no accidental short circuits and no contact between the positive terminal of the additional PSU and the negative rail of the miner

3.2 POWER SUPPLY INSTALLATION

  • Place the additional PSU next to the miner. If necessary, attach the PSU to the miner with the included angle brackets and screws. If necessary, thread the points

  • Connect the PSU power cable to the terminals
  • Connect the power wires of the hash board .

Make sure the polarity is correct when connecting the terminals!

When connecting wire terminals, it is necessary to maximize the area and reliability of the connection between the terminals and the contacts.
