4. ADJUSTING THE VOLTAGE ON AN ADDITIONAL POWER SUPPLY

  • The voltage setting is controlled by a variable resistor
  • If there is a preset resistor , it is necessary to turn it fully out (clockwise) in order to avoid current limitation during operation.

 

The voltage on the board to which the additional power supply is connected must be measured directly at the point where the wires (terminals) are connected to the board (points and ) of the additional power supply

If this option is not available, you can measure the voltage at the output of the additional power supply, but take into account the voltage loss in the supply wires. When this is the case, the voltage at the PSU must be set 0.15 - 0.2 V more of the required voltage.

It is also necessary to consider that depending on the quality of the additional PSU, the supplied voltage may decrease under load during the process of the miner entering the operating mode.

Pay extra attention when measuring and avoid short circuits!
